NFL Playoffs: Ravens at Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are without a doubt one of the best stories of the NFL this season, rising from the ashes and putting together a completely unexpected playoff run. They were undoubtedly aided by the weak nature of their division, but this doesn’t take away from one of the better turnarounds of the last several years. With all of this being said, the year has started to sour towards the end and their first round draw was not advantageous.
The Baltimore Ravens are one of the more playoff veteran teams in the NFL and know how to prepare and play in the playoffs. The Chiefs don’t have many players who have participated and the offense has begun deteriorating as the season wore on. Offensive Coordinator Charlie Weis has already announced that he is leaving after the game to become the new offensive coordinator of the Florida Gators, a move that doesn’t traditionally bode well.
Don’t expect the Chiefs to be manhandled like they were in their regular season finale against the Raiders, but don’t expect a victory either.
